Working principle: After any node of the switch receives the data transmission command, it quickly searches the address table stored in the memory to confirm the connection location of the network card with the MAC address and then transmits the data to the node. If the corresponding location is found in the address table, the transmission is performed; If not, the switch will record the address to facilitate the next search and use. Generally, the switch only needs to send the frame to the corresponding point, instead of sending it to all nodes like the hub, thus saving resources and time and improving the data transmission rate.

Transmission mode: How is the data transmitted in the switch? The simple principle is to transmit data through information exchange, which is the data transmission method of the switch. A long time ago, the hub could not achieve this effect. It used the sharing method for data transmission. It makes the hub unable to change the physical hardware to improve the rate of communication. Instead of broadcasting search, it can directly find the corresponding location of the MAC address and complete the communication of data transmission between two nodes without external interference through a temporary dedicated data transmission channel. As the switch also has a full-duplex transmission mode, it can also establish a temporary dedicated channel between multiple pairs of nodes to form a three-dimensional cross-data transmission channel structure.
