The opening ceremony of the 21st CHINA INTERNATIONAL OPTOELECTRONICS EXPOSITION（CIOE 2019）and Global Optoelectronics Conference（OGC 2019）were grandly opened on the morning of September 4th at the Jasmine Hall on the 6th floor of the Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center. More than 300 domestic and foreign optoelectronic experts, scholars and industry colleagues gathered together to stand at the China Light Expo. Secondly, Minister Cao believes that not only thousands of well-known domestic and foreign manufacturers have been absorbed in each exhibition, but also many international and domestic influential optoelectronic industry experts and scholars have been attracted, and more and more academic activities and China Optical Expo are held in the same period. Academic activities are a summary of industrial activities and scientific research activities, and have a deep reflection on the current development of the industry.Minister Cao sincerely hopes that the exhibition will be more integrated with technology applications, and more and more international first-class academic activities will be held to attract more first-class experts and scholars.

Vice Mayor Wang Lixin also announced that the Shenzhen International Convention and Exhibition Center, the world’s largest exhibition hall in Shenzhen Airport New District, has been completed and will be opened soon. The new exhibition hall will provide a better exhibition for a large number of exhibitions with good development space including CIOE. Relying on the growth, he hopes that the global Optoelectronics colleagues will once again meet at the China International Expo Center in Shenzhen International Exhibition Center next year.
