Like routers, optical modems also have standard network cable interfaces to connect routers or computers and other Internet devices, but optical modems have an interface dedicated to optical signal input, which is not available in routers;

3.The connection is different

One end of the optical modem is connected to a telephone line and a computer or a wireless router. The wireless router is connected to the optical modem at one end, and the other end can be connected to the computer through wireless WiFi or network cable;

4.Different settings

The light cat basically does not need to be set. For wireless routers, you need to log in to 192.168.1.1 for setup, which is a bit complicated;
