The interfaces of optical modules in our company’s popular products are mainly divided into: SFP modules with SC interfaces/SFP modules with LC interfaces/SFP modules with electrical interfaces/MINI SFP modules. These module types differ in interface, so in the current market, interfaces are used to distinguish optical modules, and customers can choose corresponding interface modules based on their own needs. Below, I will introduce the differences between various module interfaces.
First of all, let’s talk about the SFP module of SC interface: the shell of SC connector is rectangular and connected with SC coupler. It is connected by direct plugging without rotation. Its advantage is that it can be directly plugged in and out, and it is convenient to use. The module material is also made of engineering plastics, which is resistant to high temperatures and is not easy to oxidize. Its disadvantage is that the connector will fall out easily after being used for a long time.
The LC connector of the SFP module of our company’s LC interface is similar to the SC connector, but smaller than the SC connector. The LC connector is used to connect the SFP optical fiber module, and is made of the modular jack (RJ) latch mechanism with convenient operation. The commonly used LC jumpers are used to connect optical fiber and optical module, so they are generally LC-SC or LC-FC, and most of them are used in pairs, and there are few single LC jumpers. LC card type square is commonly used in routers.
At present, our communication optical module/optical communication module/multimode optical fiber module are all our hot products. If you want to know more about module products, please return to the home page and contact us!
