What is a PON Module?

PON optical module is a high-performance optical module used in PON (passive optical network) system, also known as PON module, in line with ITU-T G.984.2 standard and multi-source protocol (MSA). It uses different wavelengths to send and receive signals between the OLT (optical line terminal) and the ONT (optical network terminal) (this signal is transmitted by light waves).
